Despite its relatively small size, Taiwan is an island with immense potential in the field of information technology.Taiwan is the home to such well-known brands as HTC, Acer and ASUS,Taiwan is also a major manufacturer of IC wafers, LCD panels and parts for optical products. These can form the nerve center, or the facade of IT products. Consumers, however, often do not realize that they are made in Taiwan.

Despite its size, Taiwan has a technological capacity so huge that the world cannot live without it. Should Taiwan ever disappear, there would be a big part missing from the jigsaw puzzle of the world's IT industry,and the progress of mankind would slow down.

台灣是個小島，卻蘊含無窮的科技能量。除了HTC、Acer、ASUS光芒四射，還有更多晶圓代工、液晶面板、光學零組件，它可能是科技產品的心臟，也可能是科技產品的門面，但鮮少大張旗鼓秀出它來自台灣。

台灣真的很小，但她的科技實力大到世界不能沒有她，如果台灣不見了，全球的科技拼圖，將會少一大塊，人類前進的腳步將變慢。
